Our Queens

Our Queens here at Squirehaven are very special.  They live in a heated/AC house and this year we are adding outdoor runs to thier apartments.  Each cat receives daily handling and attention.  A breeding queen receives the best of healthcare, food, accomodations and enrichment; a happy momma makes happy babies.  We plan breeding once every 9 months, which gives our girls plenty of time between litters to relax and vacation. Our girls enjoy early retirement and are spayed and placed in forever homes. At present we have the following Queens in residence.

Misha is the only F1 at Squirehaven.  She was acquired from Joan Crook at Thief of Hearts Cattery.  She has produced kittens with excellent temperments, thick coats and unbelievable tails.  She is affectionate, sweet and definitely my special girl.  I also have a breeding queen from her (Lotus) who passes on those excellent qualities.  We hope to have some babies from her in the spring of 2011.

Daisy was the first Queen raised at Squirehaven.  He father is "Chili" and her mother was our first Queen "Nice".  She is a great mother, and has something to say about everything.  She has the wonderful profile, great body and to die for tail.

Jasmine came to us from Chalkmountain Cattery.  She is out of Simba and Contessa.  Thank you Dana for this very precious girl.  Jasmine is my best momma.  She is happiest with kittens.  It dosent matter whose kittens, she loves them all. She has not produced a litter in over a year but a breeding is soon to come.  She produces very large kittens. One of her kittens is reported to be 28 lbs.

Hotty came to us from Thief of Hearts Cattery.  Thank you Joan for this beautiful girl.  Hotty and Hope produce the most beautiful kittens.  Many are show quality.  I am having trouble deciding which one to keep for myself.
