Our Cattery

WELCOME

Squirehaven Cattery is located in Union Valley , Texas ; a small town just 45 minutes  east of Dallas off of  Interstate 30. Two airports are within one hour’s drive of our little town.  We welcome visitors to our cattery, but please call first and let us know your coming so we can give you a proper Texas welcome.

We have two goals for our cattery: The best quality Bengal with the most loving nature. All of our cat/kittens are registered with The International Cat Association ( TICA). We are members of TICA, and The International Bengal Breeders Association (TIBBA) and our cattery follows TIBBA standards.  We breed and show Bengal Cats only, although we love all breed of cats.  Check out our show page for current show standings and pictures.

To accomplish our goals of raising the best quality Bengal with the most loving nature, we decided to remain small, which enables us to give our cats and kittens a large dose of individual attention, which is important for raising socialized pets that interact with their owners.

We are a closed cattery, which means that we will not offer outside stud services and we do not take our females outside to breed. This helps to ensure the health of our cats and kittens and decrease the probability of contracting communicable disease.

Our current stud is  "ToHearts Hope Diamond of Squirehaven" (Hope).  Hope is a beautiful stud acquired from Thief of Hearts cattery and our good friend Joan Crook, who is also co-owner.  He is out of their Supreme Grand Champion, RW SGC Awagati Unbelievabelli of To Hearts (AKA UB).  We have shown Hope as a kitten and the judges loved his looks.  However, Hope would rather be at home taking care of his girls, so his show career is on hold for now.  He is a gentle husband to his girls and gives us beautiful kittens (including snow Bengals).

We recently moved from our dream home to a small acreage in the country, so that we could build our babies an indoor/outdoor environment (which we couldn’t do in the city limits).  We have 35 mature oak trees, wildlife, and fresh air that give our Bengals a better quality of life.
